A major seminar on the translations of the Prophet's Tradition and biography will be held in Riyadh in November this year.

The Saudi Scientific Society for Sunna and its Sciences will organize the seminar entitled "Translation of the Prophet's Tradition and biography: reality, development and impediments" at its headquarters here on November 9-11. This was disclosed by Dr. Adel bin Muhammad Al Subaie, president of the society.

According to Dr. Adel bin Muhammad Al Subaie, the seminar is aimed at spreading the messages of the Prophet's (peace be upon him) life and mission with a focus on his character. It is also aimed at effectively countering the malicious media campaign being unleashed against Islam and its Prophet. The seminar will also deal with the styles and ways of improving translation works of the Prophet's Tradition and biography, he said.
