- The Annual Egyptological Bibliography got
its start (on paper) in 1947, when some twenty
egyptologists met in Copenhagen and founded
the International Association of Egyptologists.
The AEB is now published by the International
Association of Egyptologists in cooperation
with the Netherlands Institute for the Near
East, Leiden University.
